So, can anyone explain to me, why when undergoing chemo your head hair, eyelashes and eyebrows fall out but your underarm and leg hair continues to grow? Silly, annoying buggers ... This past week my hair started to come out, I was hoping it would not (doc said it was 50/50), but it has. Yesterday Bart and I washed it and over half came out. More today ... Looked strange to see it in the bath tub and the trash can. I had opted to not cut it off previously, but tomorrow I will get the last bit cut to at least a buzz cut or less. I know it is just hair and it will grow back, it just messed with my mojo more than I expected. Moving on ... Phase two of chemo was this morning (half way done!) and this time there were no issues. WHEW! Stopped and got some sushi (sounded good) ate that and a bowl of black bean veggie soup - cant believe in late July it is only 61* out. I am doing well and tolerating the chemo and some minor side effects, which I know may get worse as it is cumulative ... Thank you again to all my friends and family for your continued good thoughts, prayers, cards, IMs, phone calls, texts messages and FB messages, etc. I know they are helping and I cant thank you enough!
