So crazy to think about what it looked like God & life were preparing me for from birth and what God knew was the ultimate most wonderful plan ever!! Anyone out there every feel like their life was leading them to marry a pastor, missionary or at the least a youth minister, choir director or some church going deacon from the first week of their life equivalent? Hey, the signs were all there obviously the signs were all leading up to this conclusion? Right?? Of course not. I worship a God who does things in His own completely awesome and undeniable way. Case in point the Jewish people have waited generations for their Messiah the King of the Jews to come but unfortunately He came and they ignored the fact because He did not match up with their dream, the image of the Messiah they had in their heads. I have to identify somewhat with them.I knew when I met Danny that he without a doubt had the best heart of any man besides my father that I had ever met and I have known some truly amazing men in my life. I knew that he made me beyond happy every moment we were together. I knew that we met because he took on a 69 350 lb. guy who was bothering me, a girl who was a total stranger to him. ( I think he weighted about 128 lbs at the time but he was fearless in his attack. ) He explained to me later that when youre that small and take on someone that big it freaks them out because they think you must be crazy and everyones scared of crazy!! That made me laugh and, thats the best part of the story we started laughing way back then and havent stopped since through good times and really, really bad times. I knew that he loved children because they gravitated towards him everywhere we went and he made them feel special each and every one. Plus he was so stinking cute to boot and everyone loved him that knew him so surely this had to be from the devil right??? Uh no. I can remember arguing with him about theology, the differences in our relationship with God and about a million things. I prayed earnestly and sincerely that if Danny wasnt the one God had planned for me God would show me. I asked for God to show me a fleece that this was not meant to be and then another and another... Guess what? God had an awesome plan for me unfortunately it took me awhile to warm up to the idea because I thought if I was God that this wouldnt be the plan I would have made. Well, nobody has ever mistaken me for God and this story proves that. Im so blessed and grateful he sent me the husband that He did. Dont ever doubt that what God wants for you isnt right because it doesnt feel like you imagine Gods plan would be. Instead trust Him to give you a lifetime of wonderful!!! For I know the plans I have for you Plans for a future and a hope:. Jeremiah 29:11. Happy Anniversary Danny. Love you more than anything!!
