So earlier today I said that I was in a funk, well thanks to our government run Medicare program that funk has been replaced by sheer anger. Why the anger you ask...? Hospital emergency room visit for what was (in my wifes and my estimation and emergency situation) and the usual suspects (urgent care facilities) were already closed so I did what any sane person would do and visited my local hospitals emergency room. Get my bill and to my surprise, today I discover that Medicare wont cover the visit because emergency room services I was told was supposed to be covered under Medicare Part B...B as in BULLSHIT!!! I opted to just carry Medicare part A for Hospital visits... Part A...for assholes who think that Medicare will cover any and all hospital visits. Whats sad is that our government and our healthcare system have the attitude that Medicare and Medicaid are Entitlement Programs that should be cut, and Americans should have to pay for additional coverage (ie; MedicarePlace a letter here) till we drop dead. I say its bull and I worked hard all my life and paid into the system. Enough of the Entitlement crap debates and discussions in Washington. Just cover us already and stop making us pay for something that should be provided for us at this point in our lives...sorry that I cant stay healthy and fit forever...but thats life. Lets stop making the healthcare system and big pharma healthy and wealthy off the backs of their older fellow Americans!
