So.........everybody is posting Im so (insert neighborhood)....I wasnt born in ATL, but was raised here since the age of 4 (35 years)...but here goes........ Im so ATL.......I lived two houses down from the Center Hill Clinic.......K-Mart and Food Giant was in the same plaza with the laundromat..........Big Star was next to the DFACS office..............local gangs were Down By Law, Lady Down By Law, The Stray Cats, and the Kool-Aid Gang.........the top clubs were Blue Flame, Mr. Vs Figure 8, Charles Disco, The Silver Fox, Sans Souci, and Atlanta Live...........Center Hill burned down in 1982 and the students came to Grove Park and Woodson.............I was a member of the Northwest Philharmonic Band comprising of students from Grove Park, Woodson, and Boyd under the direction of Mr. James Henry Styles.............Grove Park Bulldog class of 88......West Fulton Owl class of 93.....skating at JellyBeans BEFORE it went to Greenbriar.......and before then The House Of Libra..........goin downtown to the Rialto Movie Theatre and The Gold Mine inside the Omni.............The Superstation TBS channel 17 and all the wrestling we could watch...............the only channels were 2,5,8,11,17,30,36, and 46.......69 was considered cable.............MTV and VIdeo Soul.................skating at Skate-Towne when it was predominately caucasian............my game system was Atari 2600.........#thegoodolddays
