So for the next 10-20 years the whole world is going to be kissing Africas butt it seems. I watched around 3 hours of English news in China the other night whilst working and every shred of news was featuring Africa, how amazing African people are and how China wants to be THE country to help develop and life Africa up to success etc etc. Then they proceeded to interview Africans and feature African culture and talk about it in a way that reminded me of Leonardo Di Caprios speech on the science of the Black Man in Django unchained, it reminded me of how White people once thought of other races and their opinions of them (around 200 years or so ago). It was actually the most insulting programming Ive ever watched and for me totally backfired in making me love any of the Countries it was heavily promoting. The whole world seems to have its eyes on Africa and it kinda saddens me because it seems the gaze over the continent is one of further exploitation rather than charitable concern for the wellbeing of the African nation. I hope Africa chooses its future partners wisely because how much more can the powerful nations take from that country that they havent bled dry already?
