So grateful for all my friends and family, Toni, my Mom and daughter for your support in auditioning for The Next Food Network Star! Most of all I thank the God of my understanding for granting me the strength, courage, and breath to live each and every day! It has been an Awesome experience thus far! There is some stiff competition. I feel really positive, however, I will maintain an Attitude of Gratitude regardless of the outcome. Practicing up a lil! Heres a lil meat sensation for you guys! For starters: Mango slices over baby greens with Prosciutto, Mozzarella, Havarti cheese and Pistachio Balsamic Vinaigrette and a Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, With a Cherry Warhead (Yes, the sour candy) Spritzer. Main Course: A nice Seared Gingered Lamb Chop finished in the oven with a Pomegranate reduction. Sweet Chili Dorito fried Frog Legs w/ key lime yogurt sauce. Cajun Grilled Filet Mignon w/ roasted Garlic butter. Half rack of Mesquite Slow smoked Kansas City BBQ Ribs. Grilled Jumbo Shrimp, Boiled Shrimp and Fried Coconut Shrimp w/ Asian Fire Sauce. All resting on a bed of couscous with roasted tri-colored peppers, sautéed onions and mushrooms. Paired with a 2011 Red Truck Pinot Noir. A lil Pumpkin Egg Nog for Dessert. LICK IT UP!!!
