So, here it is, Day 17 of Thanksgiving month, and this lovely chilly Lords Day has been good to me all day long. Bless the Lord, oh my soul. This afternoon I finally finished up the body of Malias long warm sweater Ive been knitting, and I started a sleeve even. Thank you Father, that my arm is working this well, and that I can cuddle up in my comfortable chair, fireplace cheery, and knit away once more without much pain at all. Thank you for a clean house and for faithful Martha who comes to clean when I can afford her. Thank you for Melanie framing several paintings and hanging them, for theyve brightened my spirits and made me hopeful to paint again. Thank you for Taco Bell, and for their Smothered Steak Burrito. I am stuffed with a happy piggy smile on my face, for I ate every bite! Thank you for all the Thanksgiving notes from my FB family. How I love all the cheering up. And thank you for the day of Thanksgiving that the government has not deemed unlawful yet. I am so looking forward to the day with visiting family coming and good food and good conversation, and my niece Debbie bringing her little dog. How fun to have a little companion running around again sniffing and checking out corners (hope he doesnt pee-pee - but it wouldnt be the first). Just thank you Lord for peace right now in my corner.
