So heres the story About 12 years ago during the Myspace Days, I Came across a performer named Serah, I happened upon her site because I saw that one of my favorite Drummers was on her CD, Vinnie Colaiuta, and I just about try to own anything hes ever recorded. In any case communicating with Serah she said she would send me a CD. When I received the package she had sent 2 CDs. So paying it forward I gave one CD to a friend, Rose Tonkovich Ellis. A couple of months later I went to Roses for a little holiday Dinner party and Rose came up to me and handed me a little Gift bag filled with CDs. The CDs were given to her boss and in turn she gave them to me. Well the Bag was chock full of incredible stuff by the Brecker Brothers, Alan Pasqua, Metalwood, Ralph McDonald, Terry Bozzio.... Little did Rose know that some of these recordings I already had and I in turn gave some of those away... paying it forward again.,But there was one CD in the bag that at first look was something I had never heard. A band called BFD. When I saw the players it peaked my interest. Joe Caro on Guitar, Will Lee on Bass, Steve Ferrone on drums with special guest list like Dave Sunburn, Randy & Michael Brecker... But when I put the CDon I was FLOORED!!!!!! If you are a fan of Steely Dan, some Toto, Boz Scaggs, Jazzy rock Check this out, Good Luck finding this anywhere!!!!!!
