So, in 12 hours I will be going to the polling station to vote on probably the biggest question Ive been asked - Should Scotland be an independent Country? Ive done a good bit of reading, watching and listening over the last couple of years, more so in the last 6 months. And I can say that I have made a clear choice. Now I have two young children, a mortgage and a wife in full time education, so this is not a decision I have taken lightly. This has never been about Braveheart or sticking one to the man! Nor has it been about the individuals leading the two campaigns, they will be laid to rest in the pages of history, this is about making that history. Its always been about what is fair and right and accountable, so for me its going to be a YES. I can see no reason why Scotland could not be a successful independent country, now no-one is saying its going to be real easy or straight forward getting through the initial separation process, splitting up never is. Most of us have been through it in our lives with partners, husbands or wives, but you get on with it, you make a better life for yourself and those around you.Yes you spend too long arguing over your favourite CD, and sometimes its not about who bought it, but who wants it more. I know that there are still people out there that really want to vote YES, but are too unsure of what it means, too scared of the unknown. The unknown is what has driven mankind to be what is is today, to achieve the unachievable, to walk on the moon, harness the power of the wind, sun and waves. I can only hope that tomorrow people vote with hope in their hearts instead of fear! Only you can make that choice, I choose Hope for something different, fairer, better and accountable. See you all on the other side :-)
