So its 1968 and Im living in NYC and Im hanging out with my girlfriend at two in the AM and doing lots of acid. Im just about peaking and this song comes on the radio (WNEW). After the song is over I discover Im not too twisted to use the phone and manage to call the station to ask them who it is. The guy on the other end of the phone says, We always get a lot of calls when we play this. Im like, I bet. I still have it on vinyl. Im amazed youtube knows who they are. Its very dated and twenty minutes long but whos counting? Probably better on acid but Ive never denied that I live somewhere near where the clapper hits, on the bell curve.
