So last governors election, we had a choice. Since we elected the Republican, we got mostly just a bunch of defiance and nullification rhetoric from the governor. He tried to ram Personhood right back down our throats after we told him no in a voters referendum . He blew billions in insurance coverage through Medicaid expansion, money that would have pumped up the state economically, for which we already pay the taxes to deserve. He sabotaged our insurance exchanges so he could thumb his nose at the feds, using the insurance coverage of the most vulnerable of society to do it. I think there are few things less dignified than a public servant who pursues shallow political agendas by inflaming unreasonable paranoia and hatred in his people,, encourages and makes fruitless ideological statements he balances on the backs of the working poor. I have seldom seen any politician blow so much public money for his state. And yet, the people elected him fair and square, and dont much seem to notice.
