So last night Spike Jonze walked up to me, embraced me then gave me a kiss. Then he said Im going to do this trick for you and he got inside of a large, balloon-like rubber sphere which started to disappear as soon as he was inside of it and float about wondrously in the maze of rooms we were in...for a while, I could *just* see it, like heat waves hovering above hot asphalt, or the misaligned halves of a cameras viewfinder when focused on nothing but the transparent sky, and I followed it around enjoying the magic until at last it had evaporated into invisibility all together. I kept hunting for awhile after that, trying to catch a glimpse of it. He was supposed to come back. But he didnt.
