So let me ask you this 1. Is anyone talking to gentrifiers about how theyre changing the landscape of neighborhoods?! Or is the conversation still going to be about them? 2. So they start a petition and go to a couple of town halls. Is there no organizing around other petitions or getting folks to town halls to get their voices heard? For example, a couple of years ago there was a big issue in the heights about too many bars in the Dyckman area and it seemed to me like people were organizing in numbers around this. I assume with much success because area continues to be live. So Im curious what people or organizations are doing to deal with gentrification? Or at last start a conversation with gentrifiers about how they are changing the culture of communities. Where is there participation and action happening? Right now all I see is article after article identifying the problem but seldom if at all do I see articles about getting active. #TalkAboutIt
