So let me get this right - from what I understand from last nights debate the SNP have no plans for an independent welfare system and want to share the UKs welfare system? Furthermore, they decide to tell us this a few weeks before the vote. I honestly cant believe that people would trust the SNP with anything they say. Next thing you know theyll be wanting to share the pensions system and the defence system. Pretty much everything Scotland already has as part of the UK. To me it just look like Salmond and co want their day in the sun no matter what the consequences. No plan on currency, no plan on EU, no plan on welfare, privatisation of the NHS on the same levels as England - what else are they holding back on. Can someone explain what is the point of independence. To get a little bit more influence over the policies which wont have any effect on your lives?
