So lets get this straight: Some rich guys in Russia want to carve out a piece of Ukraine for personal profit, so they arm and incite a rebellion. They annex (steal) part of the country and continue to press the rest of the country through terrorism and violence and brutality. One day the rebels, armed by Russia, shoot down a passenger plane. They shoot down a plane carrying 100 of the worlds most selfless people; people who are dedicated to fighting one of humanitys most horrific and threatening diseases, an incurable disease that affects the planets most vulnerable and poor populations. (And for bonus points, the plane was also carrying some babies.) Greed on the one hand. Selfless advancement of humanity on the other. Can we all agree that Putin and his thugs are a gang of worthless scum? No more of this Putin is cooler than Obama crap. Theyre a bunch of old, rich, white guys from a fallen military dictatorship that nearly wiped out all of humanity in the 20th century with thermonuclear war.
