So many new people in the past few days. If you can tell me who shared me I would love to thank them.. I am so glad you came to join us on our journeys and I am so glad that more of you are interacting here on the page. I never know what I am going to decide to write about or share. I also love to share pages but if you ask I may not always be able to get back to you right away. I will do another quick intro but the full version is in my about section.I started this page last October after one of my closest friends suggested I should start blogging. I am Shari and I am a widowed mom raising my 4 kids with all different issues so each day is a different day here in our house.I have a new found love of walking to help myself and it works wonders. I share the good, happy , sad , rough days as we all have days that are harder then others. Dam who turned 18 yesterday was diagnosed with Aspergers when he was 16 and I had no idea what they were talking about. I did a lot of online research and eventually found other pages to relate to. I also see pdd-nos in my daughter Belle but each doctor has a different opinion. Some yes and some no so she is on a waiting list for a more thorough eval. Belle is 9 and we do have a wraparound team that comes in for her. My 16 year old son(DJ Timez) who will be 17 in October has also been dealing with emotional issues and is slowly becoming his old self again. I also have a 15 year son who does not want me talking about him on here so I respect his wishes unless he says something and gives me permission to repeat.All names have been changed for privacy purposes and the kids chose what names they wanted. We talk about everything here ASD which I learn a lot from so many of you, Grief, mental health , regular heath, food allergies , parenting in general , friendship etc. This is kind of an anything goes but keep it clean as its a family page that sometimes my kids do read and offer input.
