So me and my girls were discussing possible sources of short term financing... we deliberated thro the different possibilities. No one will lend you money interest free. The banks wont lend you money without taking you on a round goose chase first, etc ... then one asked... is it even biblical to lend money at a fee? Another thought poped up, Moslems do not accept interest on money they lend out. They are more helpful especially to their own who are less privileged. They are disciplined shown in their commitment and dedication to prayer and benevolent acts. Is it possible we can learn something here. We profess Christianity yet we come short. We are not there for our needy. We turn a blind eye and say I will pray for you wake up call family. Lets give a helping hand, lets not conform to the way of the world we are not of this world. Just becouse everybody is doing things a certain way dont make it right. Give up your seat for the elderly, offer to carry a heavy load, give physical, emotional , spiritual or monetary help. Show respect, protect the women and the children, Men learn to provide.when you borrow return on the day you promise. Be honest and honorable. Let your yes be yes and no be no. These are the attributes of Christianity. Why are our fellow Christians the last place we go to for help? Lets preach Jesus not only on the pulpit. Peace!
