So my 2TB hard drive crashed on my desktop. I plugged it into another computer, and that computer initially could not read the files on the hard drive at all. After 2 days of it doing a recovery, I finally got it to where I can read the files on it and copy them off of it to another hard drive. So then I stuck it back into my old desktop and it still wont boot or give the option of boot recovery. At this point Im happy with just getting the files off of it, but I would also like to buy a solid state HDD, and grab the operating system from the old hard drive. Anywhere know how I would go about doing this? Its been many years since I loaded windows 7 onto that computer, so I have no idea where that disk is.
