So, my Android users and tweakers. Found something new today. If you do a battery swap or remove the battery on tablets, it may not have an internal battery inside to keep the time. This causes the time to reset to 2009 or whatever the stock time is, and cause SSL authentication issues. This then will not allow you to use any google service, yet be connected to the network. There is no error message, other than no connection or a certificate issue. Never seen this happen on an android device. So, after playing around make sure you check the time!
