So my daughter just made me a very pretty picture of a flower and wrote flawer about it (good try boo). So, I was correcting her spelling and I starting laughing to my self. I had a hell of a time when I was kid, learning to spell. And honestly it can still be an issue for me. So I told her its spelled f l o w e r and then I thought (this is what caused the laugh), if flow means a form of movement but flower does not mean one who flows, then why why does grower refer to a person that grows? And why it flour a food stuff while flower is a grow stuff when flour is essentially made of flower? Who came up with this shit?
