So my sons High School has had several reported rashes and just found out today, one reported case of Staph Infection. They have not identified the strain of staph yet. I have a call into my oncologist to find out what I need to do. I did keep Quinn home today and made sure all of his clothing and bedding are clean and sanitized and I am very good about washing my hands often and using hand sanitizer... any of my nurse friends have any other suggestions? I am concerned only because of the chemo and a lowered immune system.
