So now it is extremist to read the Linux Journal, a web page and e-pub about the Free operating system Linux? So what does it mean that I published an article on this extremist publication and published another article on the Linux Magazine web site that was rated among the top 10 articles of the year 2008? What does it mean that I also have my own web pages that promote the use of Linux? millennium-technology/ databook.bz/ Does that make me an extreme extremist? I use Linux partly because it is free of charge, but mostly because of the freedom I have to do whatever I like with it, such as redistribute it (also for free) and modify it (because the source code is available and free for anyone) and install it on as many computers I want from a single copy whether my own computers or those of my friends, and peruse the source code to see whether the NSA has installed any back doors? Oh yeah...that must be it - all of that freedom stuff is really subversive. Well, I had let my digital subscription lapse, but I just renewed for 2 years with auto renewal after that.
