So now that the upstairs remodel is about 98% complete, I can finally share some pictures. Major changes included laying carpet throughout the entire upstairs (yes, we covered up original hardwoods, but its so much cozier now), removing a bench under the hallway window, gutting and a complete redo of the 1/2 bath (new everything, tile work, paint, pocket door), turning the door that leads to the upstairs into a half door to make it more open, moving my desk area upstairs, organizing the craft drawers, and of course, completely doing the nursery for our baby boy :) Since my desk area is now gone from the living room, we were also able to put in built-in shelving around the fireplace. A huge thanks to Matt for undertaking this project with a preggo lady and spending most of his days off figuring out what the heck I was wanting him to do and also to my dad for his never ending handyman skills. I have some pretty incredible guys in my life huh??
