So on Sunday I came home to find that Stella and Tinkerbell somehow escaped the cage I put in Appys huge cage to get them socialized in hopes of starting a mini colony. Well it turns out that Big Bunny doesnt like other bunnies, so she ripped a whole bunch of skin off of Stellas back :/ Tinkerbell found a hiding spot and so she just got some fur pulled. I managed to get them before Stella went into shock. I have been washing the wound several times a day, alternating with a chamomile tea/raw honey/salt mixture and Schreiners herbal solution, and they have been drinking a willow bark/chamomile tea with raw, local honey in it, as well as eating lots of willow twigs. I love using natural medicines, and harnessing the powers of plants like the calming and medicinal properties of chamomile and the pain relief of willow. Day 2 and its looking better, we are past the scary part, now I just need to keep it clean and free of infection and she will pull through. Her and tink have been snuggling up in a box in my bathtub all night
