So on my twenty first birthday: I got up with Ruben Castellanos brother in law and delivered papers at 2 am then worked with Patrick Hurst at Burger King until I think 7pm- a friend asked me why I was working on my birthday- I said- Ill celebrate when I make it to thirty. Three days before my twenty third birthday, my first born son was born- a while after- when my beautiful wife, Cathy Stalinski felt bad about forgetting my birthday (while still recovering from childbirth) I said- dont worry about it- Ill celebrate when I make it to thirty. Really- every year that has been my mantra. Well here I am- thirty years old. The profoundness of that will sink in later... I have plenty to be thankful for this year: my wife planned a surprise party for me- which my four year old told me about- as my six year old tried feverishly to deny it. Some dear friends have solved my vehicle problem with a gift of a vehicle that Ive wanted since before I had a license. My coworkers helped make a schedule change so I can be off in the evening... And thats just what happened today!!! God has been good to my family & I over the years- so- thank you all who have been a part of my 30 years on Gods green earth; thank you all who I am blessed to call friend, and thank you to the many wonderful acquaintances out there as well!!!
