So our first day was quite the adventure!! We left the road house at 7:30, to go to Carnarvon for breakfast. Got there to find the back of the car covered in oil, so we unhitched the van and the mechanic looked at the car, we went off for breakfast, got the call to go back and talk about the car, cause I had a blown head gasket, thankfully when I got there she had it wrong and it was only rocker cover gasket. So at 2pm we were on our way again, hitched up the van and headed to Monkey Mia, 6pm checked into the caravan park and parked up started setting up, by 6:30 we were talking about dinner, and mat was like can you smell something burning? We looked around, its ok its just someones camp fire, umm no the caravan In the corner opposite us was on fire, it soon spread taking out another caravan and 2 cabins, our campsite was in direct wind direction of the fire, so we hitch up the van again to move it, mad dash to pack it all ip again, then soon after we were evacuated. Here we are in the car park camped up for the night. Caravan life is mean to be relaxing!! So far this Is stressful.
