So predictable,so one-sided and a sell-out Sarangganis fighting congressman Manny Pacquiao has returned to the winning column with a one-sided unanimous-decision victory over Brandon Rios. Pacquiao won every round of the fight with official score cards of 120-108, 119-109 and 118-110. At the end of the fight Rios face was badly swollen around the eyes and looked as pretty as Pacquaio. Just as many experts and many boxing fans had predicted Rios provided the perfect opponent and a punching at that to make Pacquiao look good after a double loss to Bradley and Marquez. The handsome Rios showed great heart and attempted to stick to his game plan and fight smart. But in the end Pacquiao was simply too quick and so skilled. Of course there will be some brickbats in the coming days about the fact that Pacquiao was unable to finish off Rios. For the record Pacquiao has now gone more than four years without a stoppage. His last came against Miguel Cotto in 2009. As a whole Pacquiao performed well in a one-sided fight against a former world champion. He demonstrated that he remains near the top of boxings food chain. Of course at the top of the food chain is the brash Floyd Mayweather Jr.
