So relieved to report that Jordan is home! He was discharged and came home yesterday afternoon. We decided not to update everyone on coming home so we could more efficiently manage his unexpected discharge and get him home quickly. The doctors decided medically he was in a good place with his lab work, and him staying in the hospital would only put him at risk for infections. He was very happy to get out of there, and he looks exponentially better now that hes had a chance to rest through the night with no interruptions. He is finally able to shower and relax in a normal environment. Were asking for no visitors for the next few days, as were still trying to establish a sense of normalcy at home. However, Jordan would appreciate any visitors later in the week as long as you are not sick or have been around others who are sick. All we ask is that you notify us before you come. Thank you again for all of your overwhelming support, it means more to us than anyone will ever know. Please continue to pray that his foot heals quickly and that his blood work appointment tomorrow goes smoothly.
