So sad to announce... This week HQMC has decided not to renew the Motomail Service Contract for FY14 due to increased budget cuts and declining use of the service. Motomail has provided superb support to our Marines and their families throughout the Iraqi and Afghanistan conflicts, but over the last two years the number of letters being printed did not justify the cost of continuing the service. The rapid and ongoing reduction of Coalition Forces from the OEF and the increase use of other social network services by our Forces has contributed greatly to the decline in the use of Motomail. The current Motomail contract will expire on 30 September 2013 ending the service for the Marine Corps. HH
