So sad to hear that Robin Williams passed away, likely a suicide. He was a creative genius who battled with addiction as well as mood swings. He gave so much joy to so many. Im sad he died joyless. Please, let his death start a conversation about how we treat people who experience uncomfortable (for us or others) or dangerous difficulties in thinking, feeling, doing, being. Stigma makes it so hard for people to admit they need others help, love and understanding. Reach out to someone you know who is having a hard time. Tell the person you are available to listen. If that person has been isolating, they may need you to make the first move. Do it... NOW. Before it is too late. Show you care. Be there.
