So since I switched to Secondary Ed.-History as my major, I had to backtrack a little bit and take a couple of lower level classes before I can do the Core classes next year. One of those classes is History 100, or World Civ after 1500. It. Is. So. Aggravatingly. Basic! Todays class was 60 minutes of how a monarchy works. This was stuff that we (myself and my classmates at St. Annes and Bishop Carroll) learned in minor detail in middle school and more in depth in high school. This class is literally sixth grade social studies all over again. This is quite a comedown from the 400 to 500 level classes I was doing where just one class I did last semester covered only the Civil War. My other classes are in a new area for me at least, in that they are Anthropology, Statistics (Which is right up my alley), and intro to Curriculum. They should at least be challenging in that they are new to me. As for History 100...ugh...
