So since today is Thanksgiving and we generally tend to think a little more today about the things in life that we are thankful for than normal I just wanna say what I am thankful for today and every other day. First and foremost I am so very thankful that the good lord above blessed me with the mother he did! Sandra Williams-Scarbro is the absolute best mother I could have ever imagined. She is such an amazing woman! She has always been there for me and right by my side no matter what and I love her to the moon and back for that. She has never once turned her back on me or walked outta my life. Secondly my nephew and niece! They are some awesome kids I love every second that I get to spend with them! They have their Aunt Jo Jos heart that is for sure. I am thankful to have been blessed with the family I have! All of them even the ones I dont get to see much or the ones Id like to choke from time to time! I am thankful that I was raised around some of the strongest & most independent women I have ever met! Mom, Maw Maw, Sheea, & Pooh( Jen Jennings) all whom had a major impact on my life and instilled amazing values in me. I am thankful for the years I was blessed to have my step-dad in my life! Eddie was the most amazing man I ever met! He did not have to be the father that he was to me, yet he was an amazing father! I had a bond with him that nobody will ever truly understand! I only wish that we could have him here with us to enjoy this dinner mom is making for us! Im also thankful for Dougie Butler for always being there for me though there have been times Ive wanted to kill him...I am thankful that he is always there when I need someone to be! I am thankful for my job @ Go Mart it isnt much and I am just a Shift Manager but it has helped me get my life back on track and that means more to me than anyone could ever imagine! It has also blessed me with some amazing friends! Last but nowhere near least...I am thankful to be where I am today! Just a few short years ago addiction controlled my life and now I may not have everything I want and sometimes not even everything I need but I can hold my head up and say that unlike so many people I realized that the life I was living was not a life that I wanted to live! Realized that there was so much more to life than a pill and being high! For that I am thankful for each and every day that I take a breath of air! I hope everyone has a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING and gets to spend lots of wonderful time with the people who mean the most in their lives rather it be family or friends! Spend it with the people who are always there rather your on top of the world or digging yourself out of a hole!
