At this point I have to go back to Matthew 5 and ask myself what sort of implications does this have? If we are not bound by law but free in christ then has the old earth and heaven passed away? He was talking to the apostles not to people he knew would read this bible that didnt even exist 2000 years ago. So what is the kingdom of heaven? For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst. As for Jews...they are anti-christ. Anyone who has ever read any of the bible knows how the story ends in terms of Jesus. Who was responsible for his crucifixion in the first place? Cant get more anti-christ than actually killing the man. So are we waiting on the physical nation of Israel to be restored? I would say the kingdom of Israel is the church because the king is Christ. He says it to Pilot. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm. 37Therefore Pilate said to Him, So You are a king? Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.… Are Jews special? Galatians 3:27-28 …27For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abrahams descendants, heirs according to promise. So why emphasis on the carnal state of Israel in 2014? Ezek 39:27-29 When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show myself holy through them in the sight of many nations. 28 Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind. 29 I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD. Amos 9:13-15 The days are coming, declares the LORD, when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills. 14 I will bring back my exiled people Israel; they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. Jer 33:7 I will bring Judah and Israel back from captivity and will rebuild them as they were before. Ezek 37:21-27 .....I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. 22 I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. What is Israel? Who is this promise for? John 8:42-47 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires.
