So the ERCP is definitely tomorrow. . Alec is able to eat today and will be made NPO at midnight for the procedure tomorrow. The social worker came by and gave us some parking vouchers. I have been staying here with Alec, but when Dean comes for the day it is $30 per day for parking. Fortunately we can pay this, plus the huge expense of eating here everyday. I can not imagine how families who are less fortunate do this for extended periods of time. Another observation I had. When a code blue is called over the loud speakers at a childrens hospital it is a child that is in serious trouble. As hard as it is to be here I know so many other children are so much sicker than Alec and am grateful for the good health Alec usually has and although he has had several inpatient hospital stays they are several good months and years in between them.
