So the more I look and discuss the Banana Pants campaign sign theft, the more I think this is shenanigans. I made the point It could have been staged on SJI, and a few commentators took the ball and ran with it. It happened in the early morning around 6am. You can find the house on google street view, and see that it faces south, the sun is visible in the east. Also the placement of the sign is odd. Most campaign signs go in the median, not directly on someones lawn. Finally, if you look at the lines on the sidewalk, the sign isnt at a perfect 90 degrees to the street. Its more like a 70 or 60 degrees. Wife pointed out some oddities too. (Wife and I both work in IT and security, and have extensive backgrounds in setting up security cameras) Why is the camera NOT pointed at the porch? Why is it pointed at the street? It seems perfectly framed for capturing this. All of this seems a bit too coincidental. I just downloaded the video locally, and Im going to look at it frame by frame for more clues. I call shenanigans.
