So the results are not so good. The tumor did not grow but a cyst has started growing next to the tumor in his spine. It is called a chiari. The results are going to be sent to Boston Dana Farber and we will consult with a neurosurgeon about if and when to have surgery. The surgery doesnt remove the cyst but a piece of the skull to allow it to grow and not pinch off the spinal cord. Dangerous surgery. ..so we may find out that the best thing to do is to keep a close on it and wait til it grows to do anything...Louanne
