So the typhoon was not as strong as originally predicted in the forecasts in the Manila area (and other areas). Most people say it is the power of God (divine intervention). But my question is.....really? they go straight to God? For me, I blame it on the forecasting. Bad forecasting. how come whenever something comes that is supposed to be really bad but ends up being small, people go straight to God without even thinking logically? that there is a valid reason of why whatever it is ending up having a smaller impact. Theres this concept from the Alchemist that if you really want something to happen, the universe will swerve around you, open up a path, and make it happen for you. But thats just a metaphor or figure of speech. If you want something to happen, yes it CAN happen but ONLY if you WORK to make it happen with NO excuses. Human beings have no control over weather. But they do have power over predicting the weather.... what do you guys think?
