So, this is something I found rather interesting, I was confronted last week about my church attire. Usually, it consists of whatever I say it does with the exception of my ministry shirt. So, I would go in shirts that had no sleeves (images remained appropriate) and sometimes a pair of torn up jeans. Someone decided they wanted to complain about it saying well if he is such a christian then he should dress like one...perhaps whoever said this should take a look at a certain CHRISTIAN band called Red. This particular band co-led with Toby Mac at last years biggest CHRISTIAN music tour, WinterJam. I might also add the fact that when I was at their show in January of 2013, a PERCENTAGE of the crowd was well into their 60s and 70s and not just putting up with Red and the way they looked but more so JAMMING OUT to them! So, for future reference, I dont think my attire should concern you, my style is mine, your style is yours. Long story short, mind yourself and God when entering a church, NOT how someone else looks. Your focus should NOT be on me, but on the very same God you worship. Your focus should NOT be fixed on my sleeveless shirt, rather it should be focused on the word put forth by the Son Of Christ you thank for life every single day. And uh, next time you think there is a problem with the way I dress, take a look at this photo. Red, Ladies and Gentlemen. One of the biggest and greatest CHRISTIAN bands to ever exist.
