So this is what has become of our precious existence on this rolling ball of water and land..... Posts about Ferguson, ice bucket challenges (Im in no way against it ; I get the premise), faces buried in cell phones, kindles, etc., fascination with the video Robin Williams posted before his death (suuure...keep reposting dimwits), local drama over some Fb or twitter post, you name it. I remember when actually having cable was taboo because people disconnected from the rest of the world to watch Doogie Howser or Bozo the Clown. Of course Atari and Nintendo were in full swing as well. I have a novel idea. Put down the damn handheld computers and actually see and interact with people. Shake someones hand. Help someone with their bags. Do something completely selfless and just simply talk with someone. Share your precious time with an actual person instead of typing on fb. Yes, I realize I myself am typing on fb at the moment. But its simply to attempt to relay this message. Put down the computerized idiot devices and say hi to someone or shake a hand or be completely selfless and help someone in need. Chances are, no one even read this far and it is what it is. But if you did......no, I dont want you to post anything or share, but just do what we would have done years ago and INTERACT!!!!!!!!!!!!
