So this was a good day. I was driving to the office this morning and a reminder alarm went off on my phone. It reminded me that a Kayla Ray was going to be on 92.9 FM. Well I tuned in and was blown away by this young ladies poise lyrics and amazing vocal talent. I sat in the parking lot of my office and listened to the entire 20 minute interview before going in. My office staff was concerned that I had had a stroke or heart attack or something. Then this evening when I headed home I turned on the car and low and behold there she was again belting out another of the great songs off of her new CD Love And Liquor. I had to wander aloud what this young lady must be feeling driving through China Spring or perhaps driving down Valley Mills drive in Waco going to her next local gig. Listening to her own voice coming out of her radio. I know she probably feels pretty much the way I do and perhaps vocalizes it in a similar way My God Kid, they are playing your songs on the radio!!!!!! Truly a good day. Alisa and I love ya and are so proud of you.
