So today I had the most amazing day: 1. My wonderful friends ( Audrey and family) from New York moved in with me 2. I had my friend Lesa and new friend Christie over for lunch. I just love making new friends. Then Lesa and I and a few of our kids went to the park. 3. In psychology class tonight I gave a presentation about my life. Afterwards Marina came up to me and told me that her parents are from Poland and that they have a story similar to mine. We couldnt stop talking and she invited me to her home after class for Polish tomato salad. 4. Not only did she make an amazing tomato salad, but she made me 2 kinds of tea: nettle with cream and sugar and fruit tea with honey and lemon. She also treated me to 4 Polish chocolates straight from Poland. Her dad made me fancy scrambled eggs. And Marina and her mom and dad and I talked until 12:30 in the morning. It was amazing. Our talking is not done. Many more tomato salads to come. ...
