So today we had our first prenatal appointment. We got to see our jellybean and hear the heartbeat. That was exciting, even Cj was interested. Our due date is April 6. Not all the news we received was good though. This pregnancy has been deemed high-risk because of our history of losses among other reasons. They took 13 tubes of blood, 6 for regular testing, 7 for additional tests for different strands of Thrombolia. This is a genetic gliche that sends natural killer cells from mother to baby. These cells can live in a baby for up to 3 months after birth and is not generally tested for until after several unexplained losses. This could explain multiple miscarriages, extremely rare complications (as with Jacob), and even SIDS. Some strands can be masked with medications while other strands cannot be masked or treated. We have to go to the doctor on a weekly basis instead of monthly and will be closely monitored. Honestly, its not looking good and there is more to it but I am trying to hope for the best. Every moment is one moment closer to a happy ending. Every visit is going to be just one more affirmation that this baby CAN and WILL be our little miracle baby. So we are looking for male and female names that are befitting for our baby that should not be here but will be here in just 34 short weeks!!! And btw tagging everyone in this!!!
