So vacation starts today. Everything was going great got everything done I needed to at work (well thats because I worked all night long) and didnt get a parking ticket even though I was parked till 8:30 AM. I got the laundry done and clothes packed and an hour nap. Justin and Jared escorted me to the airport and all was fine till I tried to check in at 1:30 for my 2:45 PM flight, I got an error message, You are to late to check in for your flight please see a customer service representation. I find out my flight was changed in April to have a 1:25 PM flight. Thoughts going through my mind like do I have to buy a new ticket, will I have to fly standby? I am going to miss my flight to Sydney? Well the lovely Alaskan Customer Service people were excellent and re-booked me on the next flight and in an emergency exit seat. Which is nice as it breaks up the seven hour lay over I was going to have at LAX. Looking forward to seeing Paul and George in just over 30 hours in Auckland. Lets hope the 30 hours of travel goes quickly.
