So we all know 2-a-days...well they HURT! As a parent I am usually laughing, I did it and survived. This year for my daughter is different...its so hard to watch, I think I have cried this week more than her. To watch your child give it all she had since 7th grade, even playing the sports she didnt want to, playing the sport she had never played before at the HS level, and then even playing with the last softball game of the season with a broke finger then having to stay inside and refrain from any physical activity (Dr orders) a majority of the summer because of that stupid broken pinky. That could have been prevented. With just being released 3 weeks before 2-a-days, yeah shes struggling. Did I ever dream it would prevent her from earning a Jersey to play on Varsity after all these years, her most important year...NO!! I am so proud of her and trust God, no matter what his plan may be!!
