So we are moving in the right direction. Epidural is out and she was a trooper! She is still getting IV tylenol, oxicoden (? spelling),and some morphing. She is still flat on her back but tomorrow her head will get to go up a little. With the epidural gone it has been interesting. It was keeping the feeling in her legs and back pretty numb but now they are "waking" up. Her legs have been experiencing some spasms, not sure if that normal will have to wait and ask neuro surgeon in the morning. She is also having weird sensations in them. For instant Dave and I were sitting on either side of the bed when she starts belly laughing telling daddy to stop tickleing her feet, but no one was touching her feet. We have been told this is normal and the sensation can be anywhere from tickley to firey. This evening has been a little rough cause now she is feeling so much more and having more pain. She was so upset in pain that she started choking thankfully the nurse was there and we safely rolled her to the side without hurting her back. She did this a couple more times till we got some morphin In her and then she relaxed. She is feeling good now since we have all the pain meds running strong! Got to love pain meds!
