So we have had our first outdoor game this year. It was great to see that so many people came..so far I do not remember a day when we would have to use two fields. But (yes, there is always that but) right now the fields are kind of in danger. We all saw what the fields looked like when we came and also after we left. And that was not good. We (me, Zack and Robin) had a discussion after the game in which we came to a conclusion that it is too soon to play on those fields. The ground is still too soft. The major concern is that if we continue, we will destroy all the grass (yes, Frenchie, ALL of it) that might eventually grow there and make it a nice field for the summer/autumn. It is true that we played on a slippery field last year in the autumn, but the damage to the field was not a concern then. I know we all want to play outdoor and we all can handle a little dirt here and there (right, Cyrill?), but we should probably wait a few more weeks, get the field some time to dry and to recover from our todays Frisbee orgies. Then we will have a nice field for the whole season. Feel free to add opinions.
