PRAY FOR PERSECUTED CHRISTIANS !!! WE MAY BE NEXT >>> Afraid To Sing On her way to school Bita*forces herself not to sing. Singing is forbidden for girls in Iran and Bita struggles to keep quiet. So she hums... a song about Jesus… knowing that if caught, she will be in trouble, and so will her family. At school she cannot share with the other children about Jesus. As far as she knows, none of the other children have Christian parents. Her father explained that it is better if she does not speak about their change of faith with her schoolmates. With great difficulty Bita obeys his instructions, and trusts his wisdom. Bita’s parents became Christians several years ago during a house meeting. In spite of government official warning about “the danger of spreading Christianity,” the number of Christians in Iran is growing. Like this family, there are thousands of “Muslim Background Believers” in Iran. Bita says that at night she does not sleep well. Often she dreams about strange men entering their home and taking her father and mother away. Once, when she woke up, she heard her parents whispering about a telephone call her dad had received. When she looked into the living room they seemed unusually frightened and worried. Afterwards she overheard her parents pray very emotionally. One With Them Please pray for children in Iranian Christian families; especially for those who have converted. Pray for girls like Bita who have nightmares because of fear and threats. Pray for their parents as they teach their children to be strong in Jesus, despite the obstacles. Be One With Them today.
