So, we have had several threads dealing with DJs regarding the lack of representation of Sasla Romantica/Classica at Salsa Congresses and Festivals and it seems clear that its not the DJs fault, its the Promoters fault. Here are some general questions it would be good to hear a promoter answer and hear an attendees desired answer. NOTE: Some bigger festivals have dealt with this problem by having rooms dedicated to different styles of Salsa. This thread really only applies to festivals where there is only 1 Salsa room. 1) Do you select your DJs based on the styles of music they play or do you require your Djs to follow a program? 2) Do you and if so why, have DJs play sets of less than 1 hour? 3) Do you believe that Salsa Romantica/Classica is underrepresented at Major Events? 4) Do you think most people enjoy dancing to a song like the following? https://youtube/watch?v=Vwfn4RpdCdE
