So... we usually go to the historic St. James Hotel here in Red Wing MN for Thanksgiving and we adore it, but this year Im looking forward to doing something a little different. I havent made a TG dinner for years, and Im having fun planning my menu. Im thinking were going to try deep frying a turkey for the main course (which will be a new experience for us). Along with that...stuffed pumpkin, candied yams, cream cheese mashed potatoes & turkey gravy, a yummy pear-pecan-gorgonzola- arugula tossed salad with maple vinaigrette, cosmopolitan cranberries, parker house rolls or Sally Lunn, and for dessert a couple different kinds of layered mason jar pies :) What are you making? :)
