So we were out on a game-drive last week and stumbled across this beautiful lady with a collar on and she sauntered up to the car and purred when we got out and stroked her so we figured maybe not all that wild a cheetah. She then killed a dik dik in the head lights of the landcruiser as it was getting dark and we left her to it. The next day we went back to the same little plain next to camp and she will still there and we spotted one eye was not quite right and remembered the story of Sheba the Sirikoi cheetah. So we called Sue Roberts and Jamie Gaymer of Ol Jogi and sure enough it was Sheba. She had been sent to Ol Jogi a year ago and disappeared from there last month. Ol Jogi sent a vehicle over to collect her and although we were sad to see her go she was so excited to see the guys in the vehicle and chirruped at them and jumped straight in, it was obvious she loves where she now is and the people who keep an eye on her. Oh and apparently she is very pregnant, not just fat!
